“Poetry is a mirror which makes beautiful that which is distorted”. Do you want to listen to poetry and discuss it? Write poetry and read it to others? Please bring your favorite poem or book of poetry, a journal, a pen or pencil and your best reading voice.  Let’s see what happens!!

Watercolor 101 with Kris Donovan
Thursdays, starting April 13 (5 classes), 1:00 – 3:00 pm
CLASS IS LIMITED TO 10 STUDENTS!
An introduction to the basic tools and techniques of the wonderful and luminous medium of watercolor. Students will practice basic techniques of brushwork, planning, color, value and drawing. Students are expected to do some “homework” in order to appreciate this class by building on some foundation principles. Registered students will receive a list of required materials so that they can order materials online prior to the first class.
Fee: $125. Registration required.

Nutrition for Healthy Weight and Fitness, Kristin Niessink, MS, RD
Friday, April 28, 2:00 -3:00 pm
Learn to optimize your nutrition to maximize fitness levels. And learn how to choose the best foods to maintain a healthy weight. We will prepare a little snack to sample.
