The Dhamma Brothers Film
Sunday, January 22, 2:00 pm at the Community Center
Join us at the Little Compton Community Center for a remarkable documentary film about inmates at an Alabama prison who do a 10-day silent meditation retreat. The film includes interviews with some of the men, their families, the warden, guards and other staff members. Prison is an everyday battleground fraught with drama and high-stake quests. In Vipassana, the students were afforded a brief reprieve from the chaos and pandemonium of incarceration. Away from their usual external enemies, locked inside the gymnasium and seated on their mediation mats, they faced the most challenging battles of all.
Ryan Post, our meditation teacher, will do an intro and brief discussion following the film. This experience is free of charge.

Brown Bag; URI Pharmacy Program

Also review what choices you have to make your medications more affordable.  This program is free of charge, but is available ONLY on a signup basis.  Each appointment will be for approximately one hour.
